The Rose Thief
Loved the quirky banter - Irreverant humour throughout - Very Pratchett-esque
"Immersed in creativity"
It has been years since I have felt immersed in such creativity. The Rose Thief called me back to a time when I was young and devouring anything with a healthy serving of imagination, such as Brian Jacques' Redwall series. The way in which Buss brought her characters to life in an immensely imaginative world delighted me as I turned page after page. The dynamic between her leading characters, Ned and Jenni, was stellar and had me chuckling and feeling like I could have fit right into their group. Wit , emotion, and a true sense of story collide in this magical offering from an author I will be following from now on. I highly recommend this book to all. Ian Bristow |
